“I wish I could learn to like Buzz and Jessie together. They’re quirky but their chemistry is a bit strange. Throughout the ten years Buzz is still a stuttering mess towards her (which is sweet at first but bound to get annoying), they don’t share more than two lines of dialogue in their scenes and things only start moving forward when Spanish Buzz arrives. It’s a deep shame because it’s such a unique relationship but I feel it wasn’t approached right.”

“I watched Brave at the drive-in with one of my close friend and her parents. I loved it so much and so did my friend. Recently her mom was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer and it doesn’t look good for her so now thinking about that movie, especially the mother daughter relationship in it just hurts my friend and now she never wants to have anything to do with that movie.”
“Watching the Little Mermaid and seeing how much Sebastian cares for Ariel always touches my heart. I have a Sebastian in my life, just like Ariel. An older friend of mine who is part my conscience, part my close friend, and part my mom. She warns me, chides me and takes care of me. She was the one to stop me from cutting myself when my family decided to ignore it, and I wish she knew how much that meant to me.”
“I love the Disney Sequels, I love to see how the original characters turn out and what their kids are like. I also think it allows you to see another side of the original characters, like in Lion King 2 you get to see that Simba isn’t always the nicest guy and he has a hard time getting past what happened in his past.”
“I hate how everyone calls Kovu Scar’s son. He isn’t and it is said so at least twice in the movie. Once even by him.”
“My friends find it weird that I am attracted to Disney heros. Whenever they talk about how hot celebrities and guys on campus are I’m always like, “If you could date anyone it would definitely be either Aladdin, Eric, or Eugene Fitzherbert!” Disney may have given me unrealistic expectations about men but I don’t care, I still love them!”

“My Disney obsessed friend thinks it’s gross that I kissed my boyfriend while we watched The Little Mermaid. I wonder how she would react if she found out that he and I watched Brave naked.”
“I really appreciate Disney doing “Long Lost Friends Week”, but I wish they had those characters out regularly. Tokyo Disney has Meg and Esmeralda as regulars. I wish Disneyworld/land would do the same. Just because a movie didn’t do as well at the box office or is “less popular” doesn’t mean it’s any less loved.”
“When I was younger, even now, I’ve always wanted to be someone like Esmeralda. Not only was she beautiful with her dark skin and colorful eyes, but she was filled with love and passion. Yes she made mistakes, but they were honest ones. It felt weird wanting to be like someone who the public didn’t accept, but I’ve always felt that that’s what made her strong. Her life is difficult, but her heart of gold seems to push pass it all. I will always want be the beautiful Esmeralda.”
